Refund Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
The short version
Try everything free for 8 days — cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. If you are charged and change your mind, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. No forms, no arguing.
1. The free trial
Every subscription begins with an 8-day free trial with full access. A payment card is required to start. We send a reminder email before the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial from your account page and your card is never charged.
2. 14-day money-back window
If your card is charged — whether the first charge after a trial or a later renewal you didn't intend — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full to your original payment method. Email jeremy.ryan@codepause.com from your account email, or reply to any Paddle receipt. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
3. Cancellation (separate from refunds)
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time, in one click, from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund — use the 14-day window above if you want one.
4. Outside the 14-day window
After 14 days, charges are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong — a billing error, duplicate charge, or extended service failure — email us and we will make it right. Refunds for annual plans cancelled mid-term outside the window are handled case by case, pro-rated in your favor when the situation warrants it.
5. Statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory withdrawal or refund rights, nothing in this policy limits those rights. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, honors applicable statutory withdrawal periods at checkout.
